FRAMINGHAM, MASS. (WHDH) - A strange act of vandalism prevented an auto shop owner in Framingham from doing business.

Someone left huge pieces of cement in the front of the store, and it was no accident.

The ten ton blocks suddenly appeared overnight, blocking the driveway doors to the shop.

“Outrageous,” neighbor E.J. McCarthy said. “I couldn’t believe it when I saw it.”

Neither could shop owner Adr Juarez or his friend. They had no idea where the blocks came from.

Police figured out the shop owner owed some money to an employee of a landscaping company down the street, and after work the employee decided to borrow some heavy equipment and the ten ton blocks to make a point.

Police ordered the landscaping employee to bring his heavy machinery back and remove the blocks.

Police said there were no charges but there was a message delivered.

The men at the garage agreed the message was a bit too “heavy-handed”.
