NASHUA, N.H (WHDH) - Police have begun investigating after rocks were thrown through a window at a New Hampshire mosque.
Worshipers said someone hurled rocks through the window of the Islamic Center of Greater Nashua around 8 p.m. Sunday.
People were gathering for prayer when the rocks were thrown.
The president of the mosque said he believes the mosque was targeted because it was the anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
Police said they’re collecting surveillance footage from businesses in the area in an effort to track down the vandals.
