Police are investigating an apparent homicide that occurred in Taunton on Monday.
According to police, they received a 911 call around 5:47 p.m. on Monday, March 14 from a woman who said she came home from work to find her girlfriend dead inside their apartment.
The victim has been identified as Vanessa Courtney, 23.
Further investigation shows Courtney appears to have been stabbed or slashed to death.
