The MBTA is investigating a break-in at the new Government Center stop in Boston.
Transit Police say an individual claimed to have snuck into the unfinished station early Wednesday morning. The individual later posted photos of the station on Reddit.
The MBTA station has been under construction and is expected to reopen March 21, five days earlier than expected, after a two-year renovation.
The MBTA in a statement said:
"The MBTA Transit Police will be reaching out to this individual to learn more about his/her recent visit. The station is an active construction site and there is no reason anyone should be entering the enclosed area, which is circled by a security fence, including chained gate."
