NEW BEDFORD, MASS. (WHDH) - State police are investigating a deadly crash on Sunday in New Bedford.
Troopers responding to a reported single-vehicle crash into a utility pole at the end of the ramp from Route 195 eastbound to Washburn Street around 3:30 p.m. found a passenger who was uninjured and a male operator who was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver’s name has not been released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
