CHELSEA, MASS. (WHDH) - Police are searching for a gunman after a vehicle was fired upon Thursday night in Chelsea.
Officers responding to a report of shots fired in the area of Eastern and Crescent avenues about 8:15 p.m. determined that one motorist had opened fire on another car, according to Chelsea Police Chief Brian Kyes.
The incident is believed to have started on Broadway near Central Fire, police say.
The victim, who was uninjured, told police he didn’t recognize the other vehicle.
The suspect vehicle is being described as a white KIA Optima that fled down Eastern Avenue toward the Chelsea Street Bridge.
Anyone with information is urged to call Chelsea police.
