WOBURN, Mass. (WHDH) — Three people were caught on camera storming into a Walgreens and terrorizing two women in Woburn Tuesday.

Two of the suspects approached the pharmacist; one pointed a gun at her and pushed her to the ground.

The suspect then held a gun to her head while forcing her to open a locked cabinet where the drugs are kept.

"It's hard to know what to say, it's a terrible thing. But you have to wonder why, I'm assuming they were addicts,” Frank Nestico, a customer at the Walgreens, said.

With the cashier tied up, one of the other suspects waited with zip ties to tie the pharmacist up. They ripped her engagement ring and wedding band right off, and left the store with a bag and box full of drugs.

"It seems like this is a much smaller store than the usual big Walgreens. It's crazy, let's hope they catch them,” Phylis Corkery, a customer at the pharmacy, said.

After the first two walked out, a customer came in; not knowing what just occurred as the third suspect walks right past him.

"Stuff like that usually doesn't happen in Woburn but wherever there's a pharmacy drugs are available I guess there's always a chance,” Nestico said.

The two women who were working at the time were shaken up, but otherwise unharmed

"The safety of our customers and our team members is our first concern. We are grateful no one was seriously injured and we are cooperating with police in their investigation," said Walgreens in a statement released Friday.
