ROSLINDALE, Mass. (WHDH) — Police are searching for a large group of teenagers who they said ransacked a convenience store at a Roslindale gas station.
The owner of Alfa Auto Fuel said around two dozen teens were in and out of her store in less than a minute just after midnight early Sunday morning. She said they grabbed ice cream, candy and drinks.
“I panicked, I was so scared, oh my god it was unreal,” said the store owner. She believes they came from a nearby party.
Surveillance video shows the crowd running out of the store and past the gas pumps, leaving a mess behind in the store. The owner said she called the police immediately and wants the teens’ parents to know what their children did.
“They have to know at this age, the parents, what their kids are up to so later in life they know the right thing to do,” said the owner.
Boston Police said there is an active investigation into the robbery and anyone with any information is asked to call them.
