A police officer from Somerville is accused of being on the wrong side of the law.

The man is a member of the Massachusetts Special State Police, he allegedly sold cocaine to an undercover cop while working at the Cambridge
Health alliance on three occasions.

“I don’t know, it’s just surprising. I haven’t seen any suspicious activity or anything,” a neighbor said.

The officer was arraigned Friday, a judge set his bail at $1,000.

He’s been ordered not to leave the state and is due back in court in March.
