A suspect is in custody after police said he got into a fight with police officers at the Boston Public Library, injuring one of them.
Police responded to the library Monday morning after receiving a call about removing someone. When officers tried escorting the man from the building, he allegedly resisted and got into a fight with the officers. It is not known why the man was being removed from the library.
One police officer was taken to Tufts Medical Center with a broken leg.
