RANDOLPH, MASS. (WHDH) - State Police said the victim in a fatal car crash in Randolph on Tuesday was a probation officer accused of raping a woman.

The car crashed into an overpass on the southbound side of Route 28 on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the 50-year-old man was a Dorchester probation officer and was set to be indicted on sexual assault charges. According to prosecutors, he raped a woman on probation while she was in his office in January. He was due in court on Wednesday.
