LONDONDERRY, N.H. (WHDH) - Two New Hampshire men are facing criminal charges after police say they were caught road racing in excess of 120 mph on I-93 south in Londonderry — and one of them had a child passenger in the car.
A trooper spotted a 2008 BMW Coupe and a white 2018 Infiniti Q50 driving side by side and noticed them suddenly accelerate, according to New Hampshire State Police.
The trooper allegedly clocked the BMW at 128 mph and the Infiniti at 131 mph.
Both vehicles were driving in a posted 65MPH zone.
Nickolas J. Quintal, 20, of Hooksett, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child (passenger), road racing, reckless operation, and negligent driving.
Wyatt H. Adams, 18, of Derry, was charged with road racing, reckless operation, and negligent driving.
Both were bailed to their own recognizance and are due to appear in Derry Circuit Court.
