HOPKINTON, MASS. (WHDH) - A manhunt for a suspect wanted in connection with a drive-by shooting in Framingham ended with an arrest in Hopkinton.

Several police department helped take the suspect into custody.

Police say the man crashed his and took off running. K9 units found the man hiding in a newly build home. He was taken into custody.

An assisted living facility was put into lockdown during the frantic hunt.  People who live in the area described the chaos in the video above.

The suspect has been identified as a 24-year-old from Marlborough. He is now facing multiple charges.
