WELLESLEY, Mass. (WHDH) — Police are searching for a man they believe to be connected with the robbery that occurred at the TD Bank North on Worcester Street in Wellesley Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 1:45 p.m., the suspect passed a note to tellers. No weapon was visible.
He exited the bank and is believed to have fled towards Overbrook Dr. on foot.
According to a press release, the suspect is a white male between 25 and 35 years old. He’s approximately six feet tall with a slim build and neck-length brown hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a long, dark-colored pea coat-style winter coat, a light brown scarf, a light brown scaly cap, dark-rimmed eye glasses and black gloves.
The Wellesley Police Department is still currently investigating the incident. Natick police and Massachusetts State police are also assisting with the investigation.
