Police are seeking the public’s help identifying two suspects in connection with an armed robbery at a Dartmouth Chipotle restaurant over the weekend.

On Feb. 21 at around 10:30 p.m., police said two masked men with semi-automatic guns were waiting by the back doors of the Chipotle on State Road. Two employees who went to take the trash out were confronted by the suspects, who then allegedly forced the employees inside at gunpoint.

Police said one of the suspects forced three employees inside of the walk-in cooler while the other suspect forced another employee into the office where the store manager and money were located. After a brief struggle with the manager, both suspects left the store with a cash drawer that had approximately $300. One of the employees managed to escape and ran across the street to the Taco Bell, where 911 was called.

"It is a little bit concerning knowing that there are people like that in this community at this time and that there’s that danger out there," said Chipotle customer Colton Barao.

The suspects were described as dark-skinned men wearing dark clothing and masks. One of the men was approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall with a stocky build. The other was approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slim build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 508-910-1700.
