FALMOUTH, MASS. (WHDH) - Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the woman seen on video stealing an elderly woman’s purse at a Falmouth Walmart.
The incident happened at the Walmart shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday. Surveillance video shows the suspect grabbing the purse out of the woman’s shopping cart. The purse contained several hundred dollars in cash and gift cards.
Police said when the woman reported her purse had been stolen, they checked the store’s security cameras and saw the suspect stealing it.
Police said they have already received several tips and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 774-255-4527.
