A Walpole police officer was treated at the hospital after he was allegedly dragged by the suspect in a high-speed chase Wednesday.

Before suspect Michael Leblanc led police on the chase from Walpole to West Roxbury, officers said he dragged Officer Matt Crown. According to police, Crown’s hand was pinned inside the car’s window by Leblanc, who then turned the car on and took off. Crown was dragged 300 feet before he fell off.

Police said the 30-year-old former Army ranger then got into his cruiser and followed the suspect. He was then taken to the hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
