A new candidate could shake-up the race for The White House.
David French is reportedly considering running as an Independent candidate.
He is being backed by conservative voice, Bill Kristol.
French is a writer for the Conservative publication, “National Review.”
He’s also a constitutional lawyer, Iraq War Veteran and a critic of Donald Trump.
In a column, French called Trump, “a reprehensible man.”
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney tweeted out his support for French, but stopped short at an endorsement:
I know David French to be an honorable, intelligent and patriotic person. I look forward to following what he has to say.
