WEST BRIDGEWATER, MASS. (WHDH) - Bar-goers in West Bridgewater are saying goodbye to a favorite local restaurant and bar after it closed unexpectedly.
The Charlie Horse, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, announced in a post on Facebook today that it will be closing its doors for good.
“Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the Charlie Horse had to close it’s doors today,” the post read. “We cannot thank you enough for your support over the past 25 years. It’s been great serving you and we will miss each and everyone of you.”
As of this writing, the post had received a tremendous response, with more than 4,800 shares, more than 1,000 comments, and 1,700 reactions.
In a subsequent post, the establishment said the restaurant would re-open Tuesday through Saturday of this week for ticket redemption but will not be open for dinner.
