PLAISTOW, NH (WHDH) — Powerful storms knocked down trees and took down power lines in Plaistow, New Hampshire, Monday afternoon.
On Main Street, trees were knocked down all the way down the road.
The National Weather Service confirmed a microburst hit the area Sunday evening.
Trees were toppled, hitting houses and pulling down the power lines.
Power crews are working to restore power and fix power lines. Several thousand people are still without power.
No injuries were reported as a result of the storms.
