Team USA won’t get its chance for revenge against Brazil for a while, instead biding time in the preliminaries.

Preliminary matchups begin Saturday for women’s volleyball, with Team USA taking on Puerto Rico in its first match of the Rio Olympics kicking off at 4 p.m. ET.

Brazil has beaten out the U.S. for gold at each of the last two Olympics (2012, 2008). The Brazilian team plays its first match at 2 p.m. ET Saturday against Cameroon.

China won gold at the 2004 Olympics and projects to be one of the main challengers to the U.S. and Brazil in Rio.

China squares off against the Netherlands at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Here is the rest of Day 1’s action:

8:30 a.m. – Japan vs. Republic of Korea

7:30 p.m. – Russia vs. Argentina

9:30 p.m. – Serbia vs. Italy

Men’s preliminaries kicks off Sunday. 

The women’s teams will have the day off Sunday before picking up play again Monday.
