CINCINNATI, OH (WHDH) – Prosecutors in Ohio are expected to announce whether criminal charges will be filed against the family of the little boy who fell into the gorilla exhibit at the Cincinnati Zoo.

The boy was dragged by a 450-pound silverback gorilla nine days ago.

Zoo officials say they were forced to kill the gorilla to rescue the boy.

Protesters have been calling for the children’s parents to be charged.
