A Quincy bakery raising money in memory of a Boston Marathon bombing victim has literally rolled out the red carpet, hoping to get some celebrity support from the "Patriots Day" movie filming nearby.

Ginger Betty’s Bakery has sold special "peace cookies" for the past three years to help raise money for the Martin Richard Foundation, named in memory of the youngest victim of the bombing.

The movie "Patriots Day," about the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, started filming in the neighborhood. The movie stars Dorchester native Mark Wahlberg, who is also producing, and bakery owner Beth Veneto said she hopes he pays a visit. A red carpet has been set up outside Ginger Betty’s and Veneto said she has a special "peace cookie" for Wahlberg. Peter Berg, the movie’s director, has already stopped by.

Neighbors said "Patriots Day" began filming in Quincy Tuesday and they were told that the crew is expected back Wednesday.
