Quincy Police seized 61 grams of cocaine after conducting surveillance.

On Feb. 22, officers conducting surveillance in the Willard Street area saw a red Subaru fail to stop at a red light.

Detectives stopped the vehicle and made contact with the registered owner, identified as Michely Fuentes-Arriaga.

Officers and a police dog search the vehicle and recovered 80 knotted plastic bags of white powder believed to be cocaine. The alleged cocaine weighed approximately 61 grams with packaging.

Over $600 was seized from Fuentes-Arriaga. She was charged with red light violation and trafficking a class B drug.
