QUINCY, MASS. (WHDH) - Several people, including children, were injured Tuesday after a school bus crash in Quincy.
A witness said the bus struck a telephone pole, another car and a stone wall before it crashed into a house on Quarry Street. That street is now closed from Garfield to Smith streets as wires are down in the area.
Officials said all the children on the bus made it off safely.
Five children, the bus driver and the driver of the car that struck the bus were taken to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. All the injuries were described as minor.
The children on the bus were students at the Bernazzani School and were in Kindergarten through Grade 5. Those students have been transported to Sons of Italy social center to be reunited with their parents.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash.
