The race that is held each year in honor of MIT police officer Sean Collier will be held Thursday night.
Collier was murdered by the marathon bombers days after the explosions at the finish line.
The Somerville road runners will host the race as well as a free Marathon pasta party at Casey Tavern at 7 p.m.
All donations will go to the Sean Collier scholarship fund.
