Wahoo!  It’s the early stages of a 3 day weekend for many folks out there, and now it’s time for Mother Nature to deliver us nice weather, right?  Right?

Well, it’s a bit of a struggle today as a wave of low pressure rides by, just south of us today.  That low supplies the clouds and at times, some rain.  Rain will be steadiest across far Southeast Mass, where I do expect wet weather from Plymouth to New Bedford, through the Cape/Islands for much of the day. 0.25-0.50″ falls in these locations.

Farther north, I wouldn’t call it washed out all day, but we’ll have a cold rain from mid morning, into early afternoon from Boston, to Worcester and through much of MetroWest.  In these locations, rain drops tend to dry up by 2PM, and rain totals generally run around only 0.10″ of rain.  Although there is a band of steady rain just northwest of 495 that likely drops 0.25″ or so there.

Skies clear tonight, and temps tumble, back into the 30s in many burbs to the mid 40s in Boston.

A beauty settles in tomorrow with sun and highs in the lower 60s.  More clouds mix in Monday, but it’s a mainly dry day with highs in the 60s.

Enjoy the weekend and go Pats!!!!!!
