REVERE, MASS. (WHDH) - An investigation finally brought closure more than two years after human remains were found on a Revere beach.

DNA has now identified the remains as a 31-year-old man from Oklahoma who had been living in Cambridge.

The man wrote a letter to his family in 2013, saying he was “going off the grid.”

Investigators were able to identify those remains with the DNA of the man’s father.
