NORWOOD, MASS. (WHDH) - A registered sex offender with a lengthy criminal record was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to two women.

Police obtained an arrest warrant after two women reported that 49-year-old Chad Falcone exposed himself to them. When they arrived at his house, police said Falcone refused to come to the door.

“He was hiding in his basement. He’s done this before,” said Norwood Police Chief Bill Brooks. “He goes out and exposes himself to young girls, then he goes and hides in his basement.”

Falcone has been charged with exposing himself to people at least 14 times since 1989. He also has two open cases and police said they do not know why he was out.

Falcone is being held on $10,000 cash bail.
