Researchers working on ways to prevent shark encounters

Researchers are trying out high and low-tech ways to prevent shark encounters on beaches.

The Great White Shark population has been growing on Cape Cod beaches because of the increase in the number of seals.

On Cape Cod, new warning flags and signs are up on beaches.

A local nonprofit is also developing a shark tracking app.

Other researchers are testing shark-seeing drones to fly above the water.
