WESTFORD, MASS. (WHDH) - As snow turned to an icy mix in Massachusetts Saturday, residents hit stores to get snow equipment.
MassDot officials said more than 500 pieces of equipment were plowing and salting the roads Saturday and urged residents to drive safely.
In Westford, many people went to hardware stores to get snow shovels, salt, and windshield washer fluid to deal with the freezing wet mix.
