LEICESTER, Mass. (AP) — The general manager of a central Massachusetts McDonalds's has died in a head-on crash in Leicester.
Authorities identified the victim of the crash at about 2 p.m. Sunday as 53-year-old Katrina Riedle of Spencer.
A spokesman for the Worcester district attorney's office tells The Telegram & Gazette that Reidle was heading west crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a car driven by 58-year-old Regina Pingeton of Leicester. She was hospitalized.
Riedle was general manager of a McDonald's in Auburn.
She received the chain's prestigious Ray Kroc Award in 2001, which goes to a select number of top managers every year.
