With initial Black Friday numbers lower than last year, retailers are looking to Cyber Monday to improve numbers.

The National Retail Federation reported seven million people stayed home on Black Friday. Those who did shop spent $26 less per person.

Those numbers are expected to leave retailers $7 billion short.

Major retailers are offering Cyber Monday deals all week.

Online special started early in November, which may explain why consumers were in no rush to buy on Black Friday.
