The surge of warmth and humidity that has rolled into New England will continue to hang in over the next few days.  In fact, if we hit 90 in Boston today, it'll mark the 3rd day in a row, and the 1st heat wave since July of 2013.  A sea breeze will kick in along the coast mid to late afternoon, so temps near 90, fall back into the mid to upper 80s. No thunderstorms are expected to fire today.

A few storms pop up late afternoon tomorrow, mainly inland, with about 30% of inland communities getting hit.  The threat for a thunderstorm tomorrow is low along the coast, especially near the South Shore/Cape/Islands.  So another good beach day is in store.

It'll remain warm and humid Wednesday and Thursday, although, likely just shy of 90 as the winds are more out of the southeast, allowing for an onshore component to the wind.  Low clouds and fog may start each morning, especially for far Southeast Mass.

Friday will bring in a slow moving cold front, providing a chance for widespread showers/storms and a cooling trend into the weekend with highs near the seasonable levels of near 80 degrees.

Stay cool, stay hydrated!
