BOSTON (WHDH) — Accused Boston Marathon bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, is smack dab on the cover of the latest ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine, set to hit newsstands soon.

“Oh that’s that dude. Oh get out of here. No, no that ain’t right. That’s not right. Whoever sides with ‘Rolling Stone’…” said one man before he walked away in disbelief.

The cover is headlined, “The Bomber. How a popular, promising student was failed by his family, fell into radical Islam and became a monster.”

People in Boston said the ‘Rolling Stone’ cover, which usually had rock stars or celebrities on it, has sunk to a new low.

“I don’t want to talk about that nutcase. I don’t like it, he shouldn’t get the [publication],” said another man.

The editor who wrote the story spend the last two months interviewing dozens of people who knew the accused terrorist from childhood to college in New England.

Tsarnaev was accused in the April 15 bombings at the finish line of the Boston Marathon that killed three and injured hundreds. He pleaded not guilty to 30 charges in federal court last week. Seventeen of those charges carry the death penalty.

But the talk all over social media and the streets of Boston is a magazine cover, that is yet to hit the stands.

“I’m surprised. I’m shocked he’d be there. It’s kind of sad actually,” said one woman.

The latest magazine with Tsarnaev on the cover is set to hit the stands at the beginning of August.
