A city in Vermont says they will welcome Syrian refugees.
The Mayor of Rutland says the city will accept and begin settling 100 refugees as early as October.
Each refugee will go through 1,000 days of screening, and will receive $925 in financial assistance.
They will also have help in finding jobs and learning English.
