Apart from a surprise appearance in Concord, Sen. Bernie Sanders had a relatively quiet primary day after a busy week on the campaign trail.

Sanders has been ahead in the New Hampshire polls by double digits for the past week. He also has been polling well among women and young voters. Sanders’ campaign headquarters is at Concord High School because, according to his campaign, it represents the enthusiasm of the youth.

"Young people are sick of the same old, same old. He’s providing a fresh message," said Garrett Thompson, a student at the University of New Hampshire.

Sanders has spent the past week holding rallies and speaking to voters and even made a cameo on "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend with Larry David. He will be spending primary night at a watch party in Conford.
