The Scripps Spelling Bee announced it will be adding more to their championship rounds.
The competition ended in a tie for a second year in a row.
This sparked the spelling bee to make the championship rounds to be longer and more challenging.
The moderators will also be allowed to improve and choose challenge words for more advanced competitors.
