NORTHBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - A car crashed into a home on Hudson Street in Northborough early Sunday morning.

Massachusetts State Police said they followed the the car on Route 495 onto Route 290 because it was speeding. The pursuit ended when the car exited Route 290 at the Solomon Pond Road exit.

Soon after, police found the car crashed into the Northborough home, where two people were inside. A young man says he and his grandmother were inside the home at the time of the crash. He said they were not hurt, though they both came very close to being injured when a brick flew through their living room window and landed near his grandmother.

According to police, two people from the car fled from the crash on foot. The young man inside the home said he heard the suspects debating whether they should stay or flee.

State Police are conducting an investigation into the crash and suspects.

The vehicle was towed to a police facility and will be processed for evidence.
