Whether your Ma Nature or a Jedi Master…seeking balance is your MO and finding this balance in life can get messy…just ask Anakin, cost him a lot but finally after tossing Palpatine down the shaft inside Death Star 2, he restored balance to the force. Thankfully, Ma Nature doesn’t have to wield a lightsaber or lead a self-destructive way of life, she just needs to create some wind.

Yesterday’s rain storm is too far away to bother us with clouds & more rain but it is alive & kicking up in the Canadian Maritimes while much farther west, we find High Pressure located across the Great Lakes. The difference in pressure is not good and Ma Nature doesn’t dig it so wind–moving air from high pressure to low pressure (like water flowing down hill) helps to balance out that pressure difference. This hill is steep which is why we had the strong winds today (gusting between 40-50 mph) but as the High Pressure moves closer to us late tonight that wind will fade.

On Wednesday, High Pressure is just about overhead which means: sunny skies, light winds and with that sunshine being strong, temps into the 50s–really a great early spring day. Thursday is even warmer with temps heading for the 60s but wind is back with us, not as strong but still noticeable when out & about. Friday is also a warm day but lots of clouds & a scattering of showers likely.

Just when we begin to hit our early spring warmth stride, we got knocked back by cold. An arctic front looks to come barreling into New England late Saturday night with clouds & even some snow flurries on Sunday with temps only in the low 40s. This cold shot of air is with us for a few days early next week. Flowering bulbs will need to be protected with morning temps into the teens & 20s. This last paragraph makes me want to go all dark side on Ma Nature…but I won’t.
