BOSTON (AP) — U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is again proving herself to be a Democratic fundraising powerhouse.

Warren ended June with more than $3.8 million in her campaign account. That’s up from the $3.1 million she had at the beginning of the year.

Her total contributions topped $4.1 million.

She won’t face re-election until 2018. Warren had been vetted as a possible running mate for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Donors to the former Harvard Law School professor hail from nearly every state, evidence that Warren’s appeal goes beyond Massachusetts.

Warren’s political action committee, the PAC for a Level Playing Field, also ended June on a strong note, with more than $1.1 million on hand.

Leadership PACs are often created by elected figures to help support political parties and other candidates for office.
