A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for southeastern Massachusetts.
The warning is in effect for northwestern Bristol County, west central Plymouth County, and southeastern Norfolk county until 4:30 p.m.
The National Weather Service expects wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour and penny-sized hail.
Residents were told to expect damage to roofs, siding and trees.
