Thousands of families in Marshfield are waking up without power Thursday morning.

At one point Wednesday, the whole town was without power. Power crews have been out working through the storm and were able to restore power to about 65% of residents, leaving about 8,000 people still without power.

The neighboring town Duxbury, has about 2,000 people without power.

7News’ Victoria Warren reports many streets are blacked out due to power being down, adding to dangerous driving conditions.

With hydroplaning as a concern for many drivers, dark streets will make it difficult to see fallen trees and slick patches on the roadways.
