WALPOLE, MASS. (WHDH) - A convicted sex offender was in court Wednesday for allegedly exposing himself to a group of high school girls in Walpole.

Darren Grant, 41, allegedly followed a school bus Tuesday that was carrying the Norfolk County Agricultural High School girls’s volleyball team to a game. Prosecutors said Grant pulled up in his car alongside the bus with his pants down and performed a lewd act on himself.

Police said one of the girls got a picture of Grant’s car and license plate. Police said they were also able to track him down because he was wearing a GPS tracking bracelet and the GPS showed Grant following the route of the school bus.

Prosecutors said Grant is a Level 3 sex offender with a long rap sheet. He has been convicted of open and gross lewdness 10 times since 1991.

Grant pleaded not guilty to several charges, including open and gross lewdness. His attorney said Grant denies the allegations.
