MALDEN, MASS. (WHDH) - A registered level three sex offender was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to women in Malden.
Kevin Scribner, 49, was arrested Thursday in the Maplewood area of Malden. Two women told police Scribner touched himself and exposed himself to them. One said it happened in Maplewood Square and the other said she was in a restaurant and he exposed himself through a window. Another woman claims he grabbed her chest. Prosecutors said the calls to police came within 15 minutes of each other.
Police said the suspect was described as a white man carrying a backpack and Scribner fit the description. Scribner told police he was homeless and he took the T from Boston to visit a friend in Malden.
All three women identified Scribner as the suspect. Scribner allegedly admitted to police that he did expose himself to the two women and assaulted a third one.
Court records show Scribner has a lengthy criminal past over several states, including Massachusetts, South Carolina and California.
