The Yarmouth Police have announced the arrest of a man accused of running a prostitution operation.
According to the police, Kenneth Silva, 48 of Sharon, has been charged with Felony Human Trafficking and Felony Deriving Support From Prostitution.
Police allege that Silva was running a prostitution operation at 88 Wilfin Road in South Yarmouth.
Police estimate that trafficking cases like Silva’s are a $32 billion industry. The release noted that human trafficking operations also bring other crimes and substance abuse.
