Michelle Carter has been moved to a jail outside Bristol County, according to Sheriff Thomas S. Hodgson.
Hodgson confirmed she is still in their custody but did not provide any information on her whereabouts or indicate why she was moved.
Carter sent her suicidal boyfriend a barrage of text messages urging him to kill himself and was sentenced to 15 months in jail.
She began serving this sentence in February after losing an appeal.
