A deadly stowaway was found on a container ship at Port Elizabeth, New Jersey this week, but captured before it could do any harm.
An Indian cobra was discovered on board a Maersk ship Monday.
The cobra was found as crews were unloading the ship that had traveled from South Asia.
Worried crew members called wildlife officials to come and take the snake away.
The snake was taken to the Bronx Zoo.
No one on the ship could say how the snake got on board.
The snake will be quarantined for 30 days and it is not yet clear if the snake will stay at the Bronx Zoo.
