While we hope for top 10 weather for every weekend, the reality is, not every weekend can work out that way, including this one.  While it's not a perfect weekend, it's a decent one overall.

Today, we watch early morning low clouds back in off the ocean.  Those low clouds will break apart for partial sun late morning/midday and although much of the day is dry, it's a cool one with temps near 70 at the coast to mid to upper 70s.  There may be a stray passing shower deep inland, but again, a mainly dry day.  Sure, it's cool at the beach, but overall nice weather for the golf course, ball field, cookout or yard work.  For all you Swifties out there… yes, the concert forecast looks good.  Late afternoon temps in the mid 70s fade back to the upper 60s by sunset with dry conditions prevailing.  Have fun!

We'll increase the humidity on Sunday and the temperatures by a few degrees as well.  Highs tomorrow range from the upper 70s to lower 80s with clouds and peeks of sun.  While it's not an all day washout, I do expect a few scattered showers and storms to be around.  There could be a shower/storm in the morning, then again another passing one in the afternoon.  A few of the storms may be locally strong in the afternoon, especially over the western half of the state, so we'll keep an eye on them.

The theme as we go into next week is to increase the heat and humidity.  By Tuesday, we're well into the 80s to near 90 and should run into the mid 90s for Wednesday and Thursday, then fall back to the 80s to near 90 for Friday.  Tuesday – Friday should feature a lot of good beach weather if this is your vacation week.  I can't rule out an isolated storm Tuesday afternoon, and perhaps another passing storm Thursday night, but much of the time is dry.

Have a good weekend!
