The town of Somerville has made Lonely Planet’s annual list of the top places to visit in the United States.

Each year, Lonely Planet’s authors and writers nominate places across the country they believe are must-see destinations. 

While Somerville made the list at number six, Philadelphia got the top spot. The city will be hosting the 2016 Democratic National Convention later this year and will also be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the movie "Rocky."
